Have I lost my last marble? Or perhaps inhaled too much dust at the antique store?
Naw, I'm just a sentimental lover of all things vintage and think some things technology just can't improve upon. Digital photo frames are lovely, but thumbing through an old dusty photo album and laughing at photos of loved ones doing silly things sure beats staring at prim and proper photos popping up on some electronic screen thingy. Because after all, who's going to put a picture of themselves doing the chicken dance at your cousin's wedding in a digital frame in the living room for all too see? That belongs in the photo album. This pretty photo album to be precise.
I've been on a kick to sharpen my photo taking skills and I've realized I need to go beyond fussing with the camera to actually reading the book Pat gave me in order to properly use the camera. I'm not a good book-learner and would much rather have a hands-on instructor. But I don't see that happening anytime in the near future, so until then I'll tame the attention deficit disorder with a chocolatini or two and crack open the book. For motivation, this pretty photo album might do the trick.
